~ ART ROD FEST
2008 WAS A WET ONE! ~
11th annual ART
ROD FESTIVAL 2008 was basically rained out by hurricane IKE, yet not a
"wash". With our mantra of "CAN DO" attitude we put up several tents in the
early morning rains hoping for a break in the weather. The sun never came
out, but a good number of hearty souls did brave the elements and we learned
allot about ourselves. It's about the people! Everyone who helped and who
came did enjoy the day.
 |
Below is the list of the fine volunteers
who demonstrated the "CAN DO " attitude at this years ART ROD FESTIVAL.

"Story Book Chevy, Creative Writing Project"
 |
The
Art Rod Foundation is currently planning a new chapter with the use of a 1955 Chevy Belair to conduct a
creative writing unit for Schools. Along with our established Art projects
we will be able to offer Schools a tactile, visual, historical research
element to determine who they feel in history would of driven, owned this
1955 Chevy and why? ...More on this to come.... |
