Words from Greg on this years event:A
wonderful day filled with smiling faces and a true feeling of community.
We heard the melodic sounds of Celectricity's Celtic tunes echo though out
the Orchard. While professional story teller, Brian "Fox" Ellis was weaving
another "Fox" tale. Later we were all entertained by famed comedian Royce
Elliot. Everyone enjoyed the tasty aroma's from Grandview Orchard's fresh
apples, cider, grapes, and fresh baked goods which filled the air.
Then there was the pig roast which was a big hit. Chef Pere' cooked up
some special brats as well. Other goodies we sampled were cookies and ice
cream.
There was a field of Classic Cars once again decorating the festival area
with brilliant colors. Tom Durand transformed a tree trunk into a
spectacular sculpture with his chainsaw for all to see. Young artists
(children of varied ages!), created there own masterpieces in the Art Tent.
And of course are annual Silent Auction to raise funds for the Foundation.
